Featured Ring's Story

A client who wanted to upgrade her engagement ring collaborated with us to produce the bespoke ring she wanted for $6,999. The primary diamond was lab grown and just over 5 carats. It was IGI certified VVS2 clarity, E color, ideal cut (we go beyond ideal cut and source our larger stones using tighter dimensions to meet the preference of the client.)

She brought the ring to a local jeweler in Fort Worth for an insurance appraisal. After a detailed inspection of the ring, the jeweler started to fill out the paper with a value of almost a quarter of a million dollars. When the client expressed her shock, he looked at the IGI certification and realized it was lab grown. He ultimately appraised it for almost three times what she had paid.

Although lab grown and natural diamonds are visually identical, the only way an experienced jeweler can make this mistake is if the rest of the ring looks like a quarter million dollar ring.
